Google has began rolling out the latest update for the Android Market for smartphones. Rumors have been swirling of the Samsung Galaxy S II heading to AT&T and Verizon in August, but it looks like the device will be heading to Sprint soon as well. A Samsung Galaxy S II has passed through the FCC with radios made specifically for Sprint. The phone in question is model number SPH-D710, and includes both CDMA and WiMAX radios. A new Wal-Mart brochure has a picture of the unannounced Sharp FX Plus, which is presumably an Android successor to the original Sharp FX and is destined for AT&T. A lot of people (myself included) have cut the cable cord in favor of internet-fueled media consumption. The logic that led to this decision was simple. Earlier this morning we saw images of a BlackBerry 9860 with AT&T branding and now we are being given a look at the handset in action. There is an internal memo circulating around Motorola informing employees that emails are being sent out to current Motorola Xoom 3G owners. We are still waiting on an official announcement, however that being said it looks like the AT&T compatible Blackberry 9860 is primed and ready to go. The handset is sporting a 3.7 inch (800 x 480) touchscreen display, running BlackBerry 7 and being powered by a 1.2GHz processor. It looks like those using Hulu to catch up on shows that air on Fox will be waiting for a little over a week from the original air date moving forward. Yup, Fox is reportedly delaying the release of new episodes of shows such as “Family Guy” and “Glee” beginning in mid-August. During yesterday’s earnings call Netflix CEO Reed Hastings had a few words to say about the recent price hikes put in place by the company.
