Many following the gadget scene will remember the splash that Augen made when they launched their GenTouch 78 tablet at Kmart here in the US and had the Android Market pre-loaded. Of course, in hind site, that should have not been included. The Toshiba Thrive tablet has been available for pre-order for a short while here in the US, but perhaps coming as a bit more exciting news—the Honeycomb running tablet is now shipping. Individuals who pirate music and movies on the internet have a new concern thanks to a partnership between major internet service providers, movie studios and record labels. The organizations have created the Copyright Alert System which is designed to give suspected pirates fair warning before action is taken against them. This method currently has the support of AT&T, Time Warmer, Comcast, Verizon and Cablevision.
