It looks like the JailbreakMe website has officially returned. The site comes back as version 3.0 and brings the easy to do jailbreak that some may remember from the early days of the iPhone. That said, JailbreakMe 3.0 will work for just about all iOS devices and is as simple as loading up Mobile Safari, surfing on over to jailbreakme.com and pushing a few virtual buttons. In short, this will jailbreak your iOS device, which gives you access to Cydia and the whole world of unapproved-by-Apple-goodies that comes along with it. Nonetheless, while this is pretty safe and simple to… Full Story » | Written by Robert Nelson for . | Comment on this Article »

The rumor regarding Skype and Facebook has become reality. Today, Facebook announced three main things that will be rolling out in the weeks to come. Along with Facebook video chat powered by Skype, Facebook will also redesign the chat interface and enable group chats. These changes will only be available on the web, but we suspect Facebook is going to expand the video chatting feature to mobile devices in due time. The chat redesign is unique in that its size will change depending on the size of your web browser’s window. It also shows the friends you message most first… Full Story » | Written by Jeremy Hill for . | Comment on this Article »

Sprint is rumored to launch the iPhone by Christmas, especially considering it will be the last major American carrier featuring unlimited data. iPhone users are notorious for consuming large amounts of data and AT&T already went with tiered data and Verizon Wireless is expected to announce their own tiered plans starting tomorrow. An analyst from Citadel Securities, Shing Yin, predicts Sprint to launch the iPhone before the pivotal 2011 Holiday season. Assuming Apple delivers the new iPhone model to AT&T, Verizon Wireless, and Sprint, Shing Yin believes Sprint “could capture more than its fair share of iPhone sales.” Sprint could… Full Story » | Written by Natesh Sood for . | Comment on this Article »

Facebook had their big announcement today and their “something awesome” arrived as many had expected—they announced Skype powered video chat. And while many in the tech world will make the comparison to Hangouts on Google+, I would go as far as saying that many who are not in the tech world will be a bit more excited about having Skype on Facebook for the simple reason that those users are already on Facebook and are already signed up. In other words, there is nothing left to do but make a call. That being said, the video calling is going to… Full Story » | Written by Robert Nelson for . | Comment on this Article »
