Today, Amazon Wireless started a new promotion that's designed to get customers to used to the idea of using Amazon's Android services. The promotion is called the Amazon Wireless Digital Bonus and it will be around for awhile. The promotion will last until October 11, 2011. Here's how the Digital Bonus program works. According to a leaked image of a purported Optimus Pro C60 by LG, the manufacturer of high end Android smartphones looks to take on the popular BlackBerry form factor with its latest device. Telus and Rdio have recently announced a new partnership, one that should make it easier for users to make a commitment in terms of a music subscription service. Basically, this announcement will not change anything for anyone already a Rdio subscriber with Telus as their carrier. It looks like the latest software update for the HTC Thunderbolt has begun rolling out. The update comes as build number 1.70.605.0 and baseband 1.39.00.0613w, 0.01.69.0613w_1 and measures in at 74MB in size. In terms of the update itself, that news comes as both good and bad. Some Google+ users were hit with an awful lot of notifications yesterday. Maybe you escaped the chaos, but other got dozens of notifications from Google+. If you didn't turn off email notfications from the Google+ settings, chances are you may have endured the tedious task of deleting the messages one by one. HTC has come forward with an update in terms of locked bootloaders. Netflix has added another subscription plan to its service. Netflix now lets users choose a DVD-only subscription for $7.99 a month. Under this subscription, customers can rent unlimited DVDs (one at a time) a month. Netflix is also offering a free DVD trial. If it's not cancelled within one month, Netflix will automatically start charging $7.99 per month. This subscription plan does not include any streaming benefits.
