RIM was dealt another blow today as Sprint announced it was cancelling the WiMAX version of the BlackBerry PlayBook. Sprint said there simply isn’t enough demand from its customers to warrant a WiMAX PlayBook. RIM is shaking that off though. It has other plans for a 4G PlayBook. Google became the subject of controversy recently when it started suspending Google+ users without warning. Some of the suspensions were due to the users not using their real names. Google has a policy that requires Google+ users to use their common name, but it previously announced it would make changes to that policy that doesn't involve an immediate suspension. Google has decided to give name violators four days to change their profile name to something more acceptable. If the name isn't changed, Google will suspend the account and allow the user to appeal the decision.
