HP has sold a ton of HP TouchPads. It’s a shame those sales came after HP discontinued the tablet and cut its price to as low as $99. We aren’t sure how many Touchpads were sold at this time, but in terms of ad revenue, the HP Touchpad is rivaling all Android tablets. Last week HP offered a deal to TouchPad owners: a six pack of free apps for their discontinued tablets. Those free apps were gone in just a few hours. Samsung puts another nail in the coffin of traditional text messaging

It's no secret that text messaging fees are one of the biggest ripoffs of the mobile phone industry. Three UK has officially confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy W smartphone will be arriving sometime next month. Rumor: Samsung considering purchasing webOS from HP

The relationship between Samsung and HP has taken another turn. When HP announced that it was looking to either spin-off or sell its PC division, Samsung was rumored as being a potential buyer. Rumor: Verizon will get the first Android 4.0 phone

Last week, Verizon confirmed that it would not be getting its own variation of the Samsung Galaxy S II. Instead, Verizon noted that it will have other devices such as the Samsung Droid Charge. Just days after the official name for Sony’s 9.4-inch Tablet S was revealed, more details about the companies second tablet have emerged.
