Section: Communications, Cellphones, Cellular Providers, Smartphones, Mobile It looks like Google’s second Android phone, the Samsung device otherwise known as Google Nexus S is gradually reaching out to international markets. Currently, the Google Nexus S can be purchased only from Best Buy in the U.S. and Carphone Warehouse in the U.K. I don’t know, but this seems like hampering the phone’s success and so Google definitely need to make it available through other channels. And the just announced release in Italy which is happening next month just might be a good start. So, if you happen to be in Italy next month, you might want to take this chance to grab the Google Nexus S. The announcement was made by both Google and Samsung Italy. Now the good news is, the Google Nexus S will be available in Italy unlock. If you’re willing to pay 549 Euros, you can bring home this Android 2.3-powered phone with you as you leave Italy. Incidentally, the price is around $220 more than how much Best Buy is offering the Google Nexus S. Now, Google please make the Nexus S available to other markets please? via [Android HD.Blog.IT] Full Story » | Written by Arnold Zafra for Gadgetell. | Comment on this Article »

Section: Apple, Communications, Cellphones, Cellular Providers, Smartphones It’s hard to believe Apple still has yet to produce the white version of the iPhone 4 since its monumental launch back in June of 2010. We are nearly four months away from the one year mark and many are still wondering when the white iPhone 4 will launch. Today, we have some good news for anyone holding out for the white smartphone as an internal AT&T leak shows the presence of the iPhone 4 - 16GB white and iPhone 4 - 32GB white. The internal screenshot shown above represents the Online Account Management, which is a legitimate source, but it does not announce any prospective dates for the launch of the white iPhone 4. At this point, I would wait until the iPhone 5 launches and hope Apple will have the white version ready immediately. Otherwise, just for a brief recap, the Optimus V will come sporting a 3.2 inch capacitive touchscreen display, 600MHz processor, 3 megapixel camera, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and a microSD card slot. The details on this one are pretty simple and come according to a leaked internal Best Buy document which states that the “Motorola Xoom Android Tablet launch” is “Feb. 17.” Furthermore, the $699.99 price tag has been ‘confirmed’ by another source. Needless to say, this is far from an official announcement however it looks like it is pretty safe to believe that the Motorola Xoom will be available on February 17th and come priced at $699.99.
