iOS 5 OTA updates can indeed come over 3G

When Apple announced iOS 5, OTA updates were said to be coming as part of the upgrade. The question remained: will the over-the-air updates be available over 3G or only WiFi? Well, it turns out that the answer is both. According to 9to5Mac, some sections of the code for the iOS 5 SDK indicate that the OTA updates can indeed come over 3G networks. However, there’s some other code that says that some updates can only be downloaded via WiFi. Presumably that would mean that smaller updates like 5.0.1 would come over 3G, while larger updates like a 5.1 would…

After 50 days LulzSec is no more

For 50 days the hacker group known as Lulz Security, or LulzSec for short, has attacked a number of websites and agencies. All in the name of the AntiSec movement, freedom, and (of course) lulz. We're choosing iPhone as next phone -Europeans

A study that will release next month has released some early figures that reveal Android, RIM and Nokia fighting for 2nd place to the almighty iPhone.  The survey counted 5,000 consumers plus another 2,400 IT folk.  The results beg questions: is the iPhone making a comeback, does Android lack stickiness?  RIM is still 2nd somewhere?
