Motorola Mobility has just announced the upcoming availability of its broadband device called Motorola Telavation. This broadband device works with a Wi-Fi router, allowing you to watch live TV on an internet connected device anywhere around the home. The Motorola Televation uses a 1 GHz digital tuner and CableCard which access broadcast TV channels directly from a coax outlet. Not enough internal memory prevents HTC Desire from running Gingerbread

iOS 5 will let you see how much space apps are taking up

We’ve heard a lot about some of the new features in Apple’s iOS 5, but certainly not all of them. The ones mentioned at WWDC were certainly the biggest changes, but here’s an interesting new feature that could prove useful to many. Bell likely to launch HTC Sensation sometime mid-July

Google built its name on fast and relevant searches and the company has announced new features that will make our searching lives easier. The new features are Google Voice Search for desktop browsers, Search by Image and Instant Pages. Voice search has been carried over from Google search on Android devices. Rumor: Color Kindle will stream free videos for early purchasers

Research firm Detwiler Fenton has a few more potential facts about Amazon's not-yet-announced tablets. One of Amazon's tablets that is codenamed "Hollywood" will supposedly have a 10-inch screen and will be much more powerful than the Amazon's other tablet that is codenamed "Coyote." This falls in line with a previous report that says "Hollywood" has a quad-core processor and "Coyote" has a dual-core processor. Remember the Vizio Tablet that was shown off at CES back in January? Well it looks like it’s just about ready to come to market. Skype now coming through Comcast cable box

Straight out of the 2011 Cable Show, Comcast and Skype will work together to provide internet calling through Comcast cable boxes.  The move echos many TV manufacturers efforts to put Skype on their TVs.  Trials will begin in the coming months. The service will start off at 720 resolution but will move to 1080 eventually, according to Senior Comcast VP Cathy Avgiris as quoted by the Seattle Times.  Users will need a special remote, camera and connector to use the service. Settled:Apple licenses patents from Nokia

Nokia and Apple have decided to end their ongoing litigation.  The agreed-upon result is Apple will pay Nokia a one-time fee plus ongoing royalties for the license.  Terms of the agreement were not disclosed but Nokia added the result will have a positive impact on cash flow in Q2 for Nokia. “We are very pleased to have Apple join the growing number of Nokia licensees,” said Stephen Elop, president and chief executive officer of Nokia. “This settlement demonstrates Nokia’s industry leading patent portfolio and enables us to focus on further licensing opportunities in the mobile communications market.” Nokia claimed in…

Rogers brings TouchPad to Canda July 15, Pre 3 expected July 19

The HP TouchPad will be released in Canada on July 15, and Rogers will carry the tablet on day one. According to a document from Rogers detailing the release of the TouchPad, we have what could be the Canadian release of the HP Pre 3 as well.
