As if internet piracy wasn’t enough, electronics, robotics and mechanical engineering superstar Mike Senese has upped the ante in the world of piracy by replicating vinyl records. With a seemingly easy eight-step process, you can begin making copies of your all time favorite records. The items you’ll be needing to perform this will be: a wooden box to house the original record, window cement, a glass plate, silicone mix and some liquid plastic and you’re ready to roll.
To be honest, this one kinda seems impractical considering the fact that you can find most records online or at a music store for dirt cheap. With that being said, it doesn’t take away from the fact that this would make for one epic Sunday afternoon project. Check out Mike’s step-by-step tutorial after the jump and let us know if you wind up delving in some vinyl piracy.
