And they seem to have also taken a queue from the new Apple TV and offered a new (and smaller) form factor. The new models include the Roku HD, Roku XD and the Roku XDS and all are available direct with Roku and also with Amazon. In terms of pricing, the HD is $59.99, the XD is $79.99 and the XDS is $99.99. Feature wise, all three models will work with both a standard and high-definition television, play high-definition content and sport HDMI, Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity. The Roku XD adds in 1080p video support as well as an Instant Replay button and Wireless N compatibility. And then the Roku XDS features all of the features found in the XD with the addition of Dual-Band Wireless N support as well as component video and optical audio outputs. And as it turns out, they are not opposed to ditching the unlimited. According to Sprint CEO Dan Hesse; “We can offer unlimited [usage] as long as the usage is reasonable,” Hesse said. “If you run an all-you-can-eat buffet, but you have the New England Patriots come in and the whole team spends a whole day there, I can’t afford to do that anymore.” And that also explains why the data costs $10 more per month for EVO 4G users, because; “We know that users will use a lot more data [on Epic and Evo], so we charge $10 more,” Bottom line, I would say that unlimited data for Sprint users is safe for the time being but with many more devices coming that may not last forever. Yup, the Wold Edition of the Motorola Droid 2 has been spotted in the wild. Except while it is generally nice to see images of unreleased phones, in this case they look fairly similar to the existing Droid 2. That said, there is a bit of interesting news in regards to the Droid 2 World Edition though—in terms of the processor.
