The company reported earnings per share of $0.35 compared to analysts' estimates of $0.31. In the year ago period, AKAM reported EPS of $0.43. Year-over-year revenues increased by 14.1%. -

The company reported non-GAAP net income for their fiscal second quarter of $27.8 million, or $0.60 per share. This was a 114% increase year over year, from $13 million, or $0.33 per share in last year's quarter. -

Hewlett-Packard (NYSE: HPQ) has announced that they have agreed to acquire the distressed smartphone maker for $1.2 billion, or $5.70 per PALM common share.
