Let's face it. When you've held the number one spot in mobile devices for years, you kind of get premium treatment. Sure, sure, it's all about money and I understand it. Manufacturers are going to create accessories for the most-desired products, first, in order to supply the masses. It's smart business.
Thanksgiving is the greatest and purest of our holidays. Secular, with no expectations of gift-giving, Turkey Day is exclusively about food, friends, family and football.
In the past, it was the official kickoff of "the holiday season," which is a friendly way of saying that Thanksgiving was the point in time when people started being encouraged to begin shopping in earnest for Christmas. Thanksgiving, though no fault of its own, begat Black Friday, which begat Cyber Monday, which… well, this time of year is a crass orgy of consumerism. And don't get me wrong, this very site is part of that orgy, encouraging you to buy, buy, buy stuff you might not really need.
