  1. 05/12/2010 - 23:23

Fueled by Europe's sovereign debt woes and plunging oil prices, gold has been making fresh 2010 highs, but you probably knew that already.

  2. 05/12/2010 - 15:23

Euro Pacific Capital President & Chief Global Strategist Peter Schiff told FOX Business Network's David Asman that the price of gold will go upwards of $1500-$2000 by the end of the year and he's still very bullish on oil and industrial metals. Here are some excerpts from the interview.

    On the price of gold:

In a market environment that clearly isn't embracing risk appetite, at least not on a daily basis, talking about investing in Egypt may raise a few eyebrows.

Understandable, but as far as investing in Africa goes, Egypt might be one of the better, if not the best bet on the continent. And thanks to Market Vectors, there is an Egypt-specific ETF available to U.S. investors.

  7. 05/12/2010 - 16:24

The Swiss Franc (CHF) is hovering around its all time highs against the Euro (EUR) as the euphoria over the Greek rescue package continues to fade. It is strongly believed that the Swiss Central Bank has already spent billions to prevent its currency from further appreciation, especially against the Euro, because of the danger of deflation.

  8. 05/13/2010 - 09:53

Shares of Asiainfo Holdings (NASDAQ: ASIA) are falling by 1.38% today, currently trading $23.86, and the shares are attracting put buying as well. The May $25 put was just purchased 2,500 times on the offer; open interest on the strike was only 1,433 contracts, indicating new, bearish positioning.
