I was a little bummed out about missing a wearables session (Emperor's New Wearables) at SXSW early Friday afternoon. I really wanted to get in on that. But I did get the chance to sit in on a quick (15-minute quick) session about the science and art of genetic engineering. Now, when most people hear "genetic engineering" they may be likely to focus mostly on the "genetic" part.
