Design The iHome ultra slim battery case for the iPhone 5 features a basic, two-piece design consisting of the battery back and a plastic bumper. The internal battery is not removable. The material is smooth, almost slick, but not quite. The matte finish keeps the fingerprints at a minimum. I particularly like the lightly-speckled color as opposed to a flat black.
