The new smartphone dubbed MOTOKEY Social appears to be a pretty solid handset with full QWERTY keyboard upfront. Speed trap app Trapster is getting an update for its iOS app pretty soon. When this update becomes available, Trapster will become even more useful giving not only your current speed but will also let you know if you’re going over the speed limit. Latest stats coming from the Android Developer site is showing something important and relevant for the Android platform. The data which looked into devices that have accessed the Android Market for the past two weeks is showing that Android 2.3 Gingerbread and all its flavors is now the leading the Android pact when it comes to handset distribution. The last stock of HP TouchPads is dwindling, and HP is trying to sell some of it’s final units to developers, it seems. HP is offering developers coupons to buy 32GB TouchPads for $150 each. Presumably the coupons are the company’s way to control how many TouchPads each developer gets, as each coupon can be redeemed for one TouchPad, and each developer can only ask for up to two coupons. U.S. Cellular was on the verge of offering the iPhone to its customers before an agreement fell through. This revelation was revealed during U.S. Cellular’s third quarter earnings call. Now that we know there was an offer on the table, the chance of U.S. Cellular becoming an iPhone carrier in the future shouldn’t be ruled out.
