It's the eve of 2017 and our resolutions are top of mind. Instead of jotting down a list of goals, take a chance and make your genius ideas a reality.

Apply now for the OZY Genius Awards, which offer 10 college and university students the opportunity of a lifetime: $10,000, along with the time, mentoring and resources to make their genius ideas a reality.

The Competition: Submissions will be open for public voting and judged by a panel of executives, artists and advocates at the top of their fields, including Emerson Collective founder and chair Laurene Powell Jobs, Yahoo! global anchor Katie Couric, Google executive David Drummond and NPR President and CEO Jarl Mohn.

The Win: In March, 10 students will win up to $10,000 for their summer projects, and their work will be profiled by OZY and its partners in the fall.

About OZY: Called "the new media magnet for the news hungry" by Fortune magazine, OZY's in-depth and high-quality journalism has attracted 20 million monthly unique users and 1.5 million subscribers worldwide.
