Wearables are in right now, at least when it comes to experimentation and new ideas. I'm sure it will take some time for the sector to find that right level of refinement, be it through insight or trial and error. In ways it's like cooking; either you're good and deliver a solid dish of fried fish and Thai peanut sauce, or you've just made a catfish and peanut butter sandwich to taste the mistake.
Although entirely devoid of new product announcements, HTC's recent appearance in front of press and US fans delivered a share of pleasant surprises, revelations and clarifications. For starters, One M9's Uh-Oh protection plan was detailed, vastly revising last year's Advantage program.

Well, this is weird. Just a couple of months after taking the wraps off the ultra-low-cost Lumia 435, Microsoft has suddenly realized its increasingly confusing naming scheme was missing a number. Say hello to the 430, everybody, which is essentially a 435 with dual SIM support.
But wait, the Lumia 430 is technically also cheaper for some reason. While the 435 got an MSRP of 69 EUR before taxes…
