HTC plays it safe, unveils familiar-looking One M9 with 20 MP camera

HTC’s pre-MWC press conference is over, and unlike what we were led to believe in recent weeks, the Taiwanese company only brought the one new flagship phone to Barcelona. The One M9, that is, with the M9 Plus either an elaborate hoax, or just not ready for primetime yet.

Acer makes Windows Phone comeback official, Android trio also outed

It was way too good to be true. So, obviously, it’s not. Acer’s rumored world-first Windows 10-powered smartphone is in fact yet another “Windows Phone 10 ready” device. Yes, Acer’s PR department itself refers to the software package as “Windows Phone 10”, proving how much little the Taiwanese know about Redmond’s OS.
