If you're residing in the UK, there's a piece of good news for you: Three UK is expanding its free international roaming to five more countries, including France, Switzerland, Israel, Finland and Norway. This means Three UK subscribers travelling to any of the above mentioned countries can get in touch with their loved ones at home without any extra charges, and feel as if they are home. They can send messages, make calls and more to their friends and family in the UK.

Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 for AT&T tipped to carry 6.3-inch screen

The second-gen Samsung Galaxy Mega plot thickens, as new Indian import records spotted on Zauba seem to suggest the AT&T-bound flavor will sport a 6.3-inch display after all. Not in the least surprising given last year's first-generation mid-range phablet was just as large, but previous tracking documents pegged the 2014 footprint at 6 inches.

Video streaming to take over film industry

In just three years, Netflix and other video streaming services will become more profitable than the entire US movie box office that accounts for revenue generated by new movie releases. A report from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) says that by 2017, Netflix, Hulu, and others will be more profitable and will also control 43 percent of the film industry. That market share, combined with the money to be made from streaming video, will put pressure on the industry to release movies outside of theaters sooner, says PwC.

Android 4.4 KitKat is now running on 13.6 percent devices

Every month, the Android Developers website release the operating system versions percentage. It shows the percentage of devices running various versions of the Android operating system. This month's results post a decent picture, at least for Android 4.4 KitKat. According to the latest figures, Android 4.4 Kitkat is running on 13.6 percent of the devices. Last month, Android 4.4 KitKat was running on 8.5 percent Android devices, so yes, it's a pretty big jump.
