The Fitbit One was announced several weeks back alongside the Fitbit Zip. And well, the Fitbit One has come available for purchase beginning today, November 13. The Fitbit One is priced at $99.95 and available in black and/or burgundy.

Perhaps more important though, the features that come along with. The Fitbit One will track you activity during the day and into the night. During the day you have your step counting as well as distance, stairs climbed and calories burned. Into the night and the Fitbit One will monitor your sleep quality and also wake you up when it is time to rise. The One has what they call a "Silent Wake alarm." In short, this is said to "gently vibrate to wake you."

Otherwise, the Fitbit One syncs using Bluetooth 4.0, has a display that should be readable during day- and night-time hours and an "oops-proof" design which simply means that the Fitbit One is splash-, rain- and sweat-proof. And for those looking for the social connection, the Fitbit One will allow you to "cheer" and/or "taunt" your friends. Or them vice versa. Plus, there are also some badges that you earn for daily and lifetime achievements.
