Keep yourself updated with the latest game results with the 2012 Olympics app for Windows Phone

The London Organizing Committee of the Olympic Games (LOCOG) has just released the official 2012 Olympic Games app. The app is available now from the Windows Phone Marketplace. It was designed to keep you up to date with the latest Olympic action and Paralympic action that is bound to happen. The upcoming 2012 Olympics run from July 25 to August 12 and August 29 to September 9, 2012. If you own a device running Windows Phone 7.5 or higher, then you’ll be better off installing this app. But that is of course if you’re interested with the happenings of the Olympics. Looking at the app’s features, it seems to be a pretty capable app which gives you the latest news, schedules, live updates, details of sports, medal tables and athlete profiles. You can also follow specific countries and receive official news and updates about how the countries you’ve followed are faring in the medal tallies. Additionally, the app also comes with a companion app called London 2012 Join In which serves as mobile guide to help you in planning, enjoying and sharing your Olympic Games experiences.
