Samsung has announced its new collection of Series 5 Ultraboks which are so far only for South Korea. The Series 5 Ultrabooks come in 13- and 14-inch sizes, and pack Intel Core i5 CPUs with up to 8GB of RAM. The 13-inch models is just 14.9mm thick, and has a 1366x768 display. Inside the 13-inch packs a 500GB HDD with 16GB SSD, Intel graphics, and standard ports like USB, Ethernet, VGA, and HDMI. Mac App Store tops 100 million downloaded apps

In just under a year the Mac App Store has reached a total of more than 100 million app downloads. The Mac App Store launched on January 6, 2011, and saw 1 million downloads that first day. When Lion launched, that was another 1 million downloads in a single day. Dish Network is eyeballing T-Mobile's assets

  The proposed merger between AT&T and T-Mobile is looking less likely to happen every week.
