Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales has proposed a blackout of his beloved website in order to oppose the upcoming SOPA anti-piracy bill in the US. Wales believes that blacking-out every Wikipedia page will send a powerful message to lawmakers. Supporters of the bill claim that they want to protect the interests of rightsholders that claim their businesses are under duress. While FCC filings are not always a sure sign of a release—it looks like AT&T may have another Pantech branded device in the works. We had been hearing some chatter in regards to the Asus Transformer Prime being delayed. And for those who may have missed the previous Transformer Prime coverage, the tablet was expected to be released sometime during the week of December 12th. Microsoft has had OneNote available for the iPhone for some time now and it looks like the app has since been updated. Yup, Microsoft has rolled out version 1.3 of OneNote for iOS and in addition to an updated app—there is now native support for the iPad. In short, Microsoft’s OneNote is now compatible with both the smaller screen of the iPhone and the larger screen of the iPad. Based on details that are coming from a leaked Verizon document—it looks like a 4G LTE version of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play smartphone may be in the works. Based on what we have seen, it looks like Verizon will begin employee training for the “Xperia Play 4G” on December 12th and have it run through December 14th. We had known this update was coming, which means we can file this under the expected but still welcomed category. But that being said, it looks like T-Mobile has begun rolling out a software update for the HTC Amaze 4G which brings support for WiFi calling. The update comes as Android 2.3.4 and software version 1.43.531.3 and the roll-out process will be gradual—and slow. Several weeks ago, an app called Any.Do was released in the Android Market. It’s a productivity app that helps you keep track of tasks you need to complete. Basically, it’s an electronic to-do list. Right now, Any.Do has between 100,000 and 500,000 downloads, and 3,323 five-star reviews out of 4,751 total reviews. Those are pretty good reviews by any reasonable person’s standards. Verizon will soon be offering yet another Android tablet with LTE in yet another form factor. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is making its way to Verizon with an LTE radio on board. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 recently made its way into the Verizon product database, according to Droid-Life.
