The iPhone 4S is continuing to impress with it’s sales numbers, with 4 million units sold in its first three days on sale. Last week was not good for RIM. As the iPhone 4S was building up steam for its release, customers in India. Europe, the Middle East, the United States and Africa were unable to access crucial BlackBerry services. RIM finally fixed everything on October 13, but not before outages that lasted three days in some countries. RIM is apologizing to its BlackBerry users with apologetic words and free apps. The concept of bill shock may become a thing of the past. The FCC and the CTIA have come to an agreement that requires mobile providers to send alerts to customers who are close to, or have gone over their monthly allotment of voice, text and data services. There had been hundreds of customer complaints within the last year from customers that were hit with bills they couldn’t possibly afford. We saw the issue where some iOS 5 users were having trouble logging in with the official Google Voice iOS that we mentioned earlier today and it looks like there is some additional trouble as well. Those who are using an iPhone and find themselves relying on Google Voice may have some issues. It seems that the official Google Voice iPhone app has been pulled from the iOS App Store. It looks like T-Mobile has officially announced the LG DoublePlay, which will arrive later this month with its unique split style QWERTY keyboard. More specifically, the LG DoublePlay features a split QWERTY keyboard and dual capacitive touch screens. The interior display measures in at 2.0 inches while the exterior display measures in at 3.5 inches.
